Conservatory cleaning ,gutter cleaning in Nottingham.

Why routine gutter +conservatory maintenance is so important.
Gutters:The state of the inside of your gutters depends on quite a few different factors:
1)Trees and Mosses
2)Type of roof tiles
3)Condition of pointing in gulley's and ridges
4)Poorly fitted guttering,(extremely common)

1)Trees and Mosses: If your homes in a forest or surrounded by many large trees the likelihood of needing to have your gutters cleared out regularly is pretty certain, over time your gutters will get clogged up and eventually blocked. This will cause them to overflow during continual or heavy downpours, this can cause damp and mould to grow inside the house.

2)Type of Roof tiles: Older concrete type roof tiles will over time shed a lot of sand, which in 10 to 15 years of build up can amount to a good few buckets of sand and mosses being removed from your gutters, this will amount to quite some considerable weight, then add some frozen water to it in winter and poorly fitted gutters can just fall off the side of your house,(not very common though, but not unheard of). Clay tiles don't shed sand, but do sometimes start to break down and newer concrete tiles shed very little sand.

3)Pointing condition in gulley's and Ridge tiles: Generally a roofs weak spot is its pointing and broken tiles or slates, this is how the water starts to get in and this is when the damage starts. As far as your gutters go though ,small bits of pointing and broken roof tile will cause like a damming effect and cause leaves moss and sand to back up behind them, and on very long runs of guttering can cause them to overflow.Overflowing gutters will cause damp inside the rooms adjacent to the overflowing gutter.

4)Poorly fitted guttering: Now recently I have been doing a lot of gutter maintenance and re aligning work in an area called Harlow wood near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire,I will not mention the name of the house builder, but all you need to do is have a drive about after a few days of rain and examine the walls on the houses for wet patches nearly one on every street ,these gutters are fitted on adjustable gutter brackets so its easy to fix and I've done a few in that area, poorly fitted gutters can really ruin your life.
the cleanest gutters I've seen that haven't ever been cleared out had perfect pointing and had a perfectly straight fall with no dips, broken tiles pieces, or crumbling pointing in them, the worst were full of sand, moss and were up and down all over the place ,like I won't say what.I do have many images of what I'm talking about, but not sure how to get them from my phone to the right place on my lap top where I can use them,Yet.
